The Wood

The best wood on the planet for making wooden baseball bats is harvested from the forests of the northeastern United States. The short growing season produces a tight grain pattern that is very desirable for a high quality wooden bat. Bazzi baseball bats are handcrafted from this wood, the same wood used to make professional bats.

Choosing Your Bat

Many companies paint their entire wooden bat so that the grain cannot be seen. When purchasing a top quality bat, it is important to know what you are getting. The straighter and closer together the grain of the wood the better quality baseball bat. Bazzi leaves a portion of every bat unfinished so the buyer can see what is being purchased.

Caring

Taking care of your wooden bat will make it last much longer. Wood bats should be stored in a cool, dry place because wood will absorb moisture and become heavier over time. If kept in a hot area, your bat will dry out and crack easily. Most baseball bats are broken because the ball is hit off the end and on the wrong side of the bat. Make sure your bat is held so that when contact is made with the ball it is not made on the sides of the bat with the trademark or the exact opposite side.

Basic Information

Bats are categorized according to model, length and weight. The length of the bat is stamped on the end of the knob. A stamping with a (3) would indicate the bat is 33” inches in length. If a bat is a 33 30 this indicates that the bat is 33” inches and weighs 30 ounces or a -3.

The CB91 is for the player with serious power. It has a flared knob, a 15/16” handle and long 2 5/8” barrel. This is one of our top selling bats

O721 32-34”

The O721 has a standard knob and handle that is 15/16” along with 2 9/16” tapered barrel. A strong bat with just a bit less weight

C243 32-34”

The C243 has a standard knob with a generally thin handle except for the slight flare in the bottom hand. It has a large and long barrel creating a lot of good hitting surface to work with. This is a power hitters model.

C271 32-24”

The C271 has a flared knob, with a 15/16" handle and a 2 1/2" barrel. This bat features a good balance that makes this one of the most popular choices of players. This wood bat creates a smooth even swing, and is an excellent choice for any kind of hitter.

Fungo 34”

We offer the most comfortable fungo there is. The knob is tapered and smooth which allows you to take many swings with no discomfort. Only sell these in 34”.
